Countrymen for professionals
Are you working with someone who would benefit from time outside? Maybe they have become isolated, and this has affected their mood.
At Rylands Farm we can provide support for men with a range of difficulties. They may be struggling with their mental health or have physical health problems which are preventing them from getting out.
Being lonely and socially isolated is tough and can have a profound effect on a person’s well-being.
We offer an opportunity where men begin to build friendships in a safe non-threatening environment. We work to their skills, strengths and abilities with an aim to build their self-esteem and confidence.
Sessions
Tuesday and Thursday from 1.30pm- 4.00pm
Costs
These will be assessed on an individual basis and can be purchased through direct payments, privately funded or through the Local Authority.
Introductory visits are arranged first and the initial session is free of charge.
We also offer support to carers; we will always find time to speak with carers individually and also at a bi-monthly support group.
Feeback comment -- “You are making such a difference to lives, not just of the men who attend but also of the families who support them”. Jan 2025
